The Nrich Site
Some of our students have successfully cracked some of the December problems posted on-line in the Interact Magazine on the Nrich Site. Claire Kruithof, Kim Murray, Joanna Littlefair, Rhona Bagnall, David Glass, Elisabeth Brewster, Nicola Jack, Colin Chaloner, Ross Craig, Myles Bancroft (all S2) and Helen Smith (S1) all successfully solved ABSearch. John McGinley (S2) had a puzzle that he created published.Sixty Seven Squared was solved by Gareth Griffiths, Euen Black and Alex Magee (S3). Congratulations to them all.
The British Maths Olympiad
- Three of our students Oliver Glidewell, Alan Riddell and Sue Liu sat this Paper on Wednesday 13 January. You can try the five questions: BMO 99 Paper (You are allowed 31/2 hours!)
