At the start of the game no children are seated. The table is empty.
A Move:
On his turn it is Blue's task to seat a Boy at the table by placing a blue counter in an empty space. Likewise on her turn Red must seat a Girl by placing a red counter in an empty space. Blue starts.
However no boy is allowed to sit next to a girl.
A win:
If your opponent cannot seat his/her child then you win.
Comments:
Here is a game in progress:
It is Red (girls) to play and she has only three possible positions: a, b and c.
If she plays in position c she will lose the game. Can you see why?
If she plays in either a or b she will win.
