This excellent Site is run by Cambridge University and provides resources for mathematical enhancement. There is a monthly on-line magazine which publishes a set of problems along with student's contributions to solutions. There are articles, games and news of events. Discussion forums are available for Maths help etc.

This is a Site that allows interactive practice of many basic arithmetical and mathematical skills. It is uncomplicated and the simple device of timed responses allows a variety of methods of use. Motivation can be high especially if best times are being challenged!

The website of the Freudenthal Institute for secondary education based at Utrecht University in the Netherlands: " Starting with context-linked solutions, the students gradually develop mathematical tools and understanding at a more formal level. NTCM Illuminations
Illuminations is a partnership between the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (USA) and the MarcoPolo Education Foundation. This Site has high quality curriculum-embedded Applet-based instructional materials and is very much at the fore in advocating the use of on-line web-based 'mathlets' to deliver the mathematics curriculum in a more effective and dynamic manner. Over 50 Student i-Math Investigations, over 100 web-based lesson plans and over 40 Interactive 'Mathlet' tools. Also video vignettes, interactive math content, research reports, and articles.
